General Knucklestorm (ジフンサー, Jifunsā, Jifunsa) is a high ranking ex-Space Police officer and the father of Brie Pourri. He chose to leave the organization after Brie joined, seeking a life of solitude in the Couscous Ruins.

Knucklestorm has a gruff, military personality. He often refers to the protagonists as "maggots" by force of habit before correcting himself.
Appearance[]
Knucklestorm's hair is sea green, shoulder-length, and parted down the middle. His thick eye brows and facial hair also bear this color, and his eyes are icy blue. For clothing, Knucklestorm wears a sleeveless yellow one-piece with red and purple stripes, greatly exposing his muscular form. He is equipped with a pair of big gloves and baggy pants, which are colored burgundy on the outside and green inside, and the hems of his pants are rolled up below his knees. His choice of footwear is dark gray military socks and sandals. On his back, Knucklestorm carries a powerful longsword.

Backstory[]
10 years before the events of the game, Knucklestorm was a renowned general of the Bena Rikashi Space Police, but grew weary after Kale overthrew King Suspiro and seized control over the entire police force. He abandoned the city once his daughter, Brie Pourri, joined the Space Police, fearing that Kale would corrupt her sense of justice. Knucklestorm's predictions ultimately came true, and to distance himself from the goings-on of Bena Rikashi, he migrated to the Couscous Ruins.

Name origin[]
The name Knucklestorm is of unknown origin, as it is not derived from a food like most other characters in the game, nor does he use his knuckles in combat. The "storm" part could possibly be in reference to his daughter's alignment with Wind Magic, though this is mere speculation.
His Japanese name, Jifunsa (ジフンサー) comes from "San Fuji" (サンふじ).
