Sparkling Shield (メダイヨン, Medaiyon, Medallion) is a spell of the Water alignment in Magical Starsign. Sorbet learns this spell at Lv 38.[1]
Effect[]
Applies Shield: Negates damage from magic attacks. Durability is equal to the ratio of MP consumed.
Shield does not stack with Barrier or Wall. If an ally has either of these two statuses active, they will be cancelled and replaced with Shield.

The caster creates three teal diamonds around an ally to protect them from magic attacks.
Back row[]
Two blue sparkles are cast into the air. They merge into one and land on the party's field, spawning several diamond walls that absorb the impact of magic damage.

Name origin[]
Sparkling Shield comes from sparkling water, a drink in which pressurized carbon dioxide is dissolved into water.
Its Japanese name, Medallion, refers to food cut into a small oval shape.
